About the College
The College of Agriculture, Lakhimpur Kheri, located in Jamunabad, Gola, was established in 2014 under Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, to provide quality agricultural education through the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme. The undergraduate course started in the 2015–16 academic year and was initially held at the university's main campus in Kanpur during its development phase. Since 2019, the college has operated from its own campus in Lakhimpur Kheri. Situated in one of Uttar Pradesh's key agricultural regions, the college plays a vital role in enhancing agricultural education, fostering innovation, and supporting local farmers. It aims to deliver high-quality, student-focused education emphasising practical training, experiential learning, and skill development. The curriculum adheres to the standards set by the ICAR Sixth Deans' Committee, ensuring students are prepared to meet national benchmarks and the sector's evolving needs.

- 2022
- Dr. Arun Kumar received the Best PhD. Thesis Award at the International Seminar on Smart Agriculture and Biodiversity Conservation for Sustainable Development (SABCD-2022), held at Jaipur National University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, from 04-06 March, 2022.
- Dr. Arun Kumar received the Best Teacher Award in the International Conference on Best Contribution towards Teaching Quality, organized by the Agriculture and Environmental Technology Development Society (AETDS), Uttarakhand, India.
- 2023
- Dr. A. K. Singh was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award in the National Seminar cum Alumni Meet held at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya, UP, on 24-25 December 2023.
- Dr. A. K. Singh received the Certificate of Appreciation from the Chief Medical Officer, District Ballia, for commendable work during the ‘Sarvjan Dava Sevan Abhiyan 2023 for Filaria Eradication Campaign’.
- Dr. A. K. Panday was awarded the Fellow Award (2023) of the India Society of Oilseeds on the occasion of the International Conference on Vegetable Oils 2023 (ICVO 2023) on ‘Research, Trade, Value Chain and Policy’, held at IIOR, Hyderabad, from January 17-21, 2023.
- Dr. A. K. Panday was awarded the State Level Farm and Food Agri Award (2023) on the occasion of the 10th State Level Farm and Food Agri Award 2022, held at KVK, Basti (U.P.), organized by Farm and Food Agri Magazine, New Delhi.
