Baba
Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedker College of Agriculture
Engineering & Technology, Etawah was established during the year 1994-95. The main motto of the college
is to make provision for education of mainly rural people of Utter Pradesh and provide good
facilities for research and extension in the field of Agricultural Engineering and technology.
The college from its very inception had adopted a very progressive policy and extends all
facilities to the students for their better education and co curricular activities.

Etawah
is well connected with all important cities of
U.P. and other parts of the country by road and railways. Most of the trains on Delhi-Howarh main route stop at Etawah
Railway station. The campus is divided into two parts by National Highways -2 (Shershah
Suri Marg), on one side of it lies the college building while on the other side are girl’s hostels, guest house and residential campus for faculty and staff.
The college is located near B.R. Ambedkar Govt. District Hospital
and is approximately 2 km from Etawah Railway station and 3 km from Bus station.

Students
are admitted to the under graduate programme
through UPSEAT (Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Admission Test) conducted by UPSEAT Cell at Institute of Engineering
and Technology, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Seats are allotted according to the merit
of students in UPSEAT.

Candidates
who have passed intermediate of U.P. Board
(10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Agriculture (only for B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering). Candidates those are appearing in the qualifying examination or
have appeared and the result is awaited, are also eligible to appear in UPSEAT.

college campus having two hostels viz.
Boy’s and Girl’s Hostel with a capacity of 100 & 40 rooms, respectively. Mess facility is available in each hostel and managed
by the students. However respective
wardens and chief warden strictly maintain
the hostel disciplines. All the students
must adhere and abide by the hostel
rules.

is a training and placement coordinator
Cell which arranges the summer field
training of one month mandatory for
all the students at the end of the
second and third year degree programme.
The various fields of training are
Farm Machinery and Power Engineering,
Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Food Process Engineering and Irrigation and Drainage Engineering
at government training centers and
reputed private firms.
