Er. Lal Mani was born on 15.12.1959 in a village named Sardilpur under Uttar pradesh. He completed his B.Sc. (Agril. Engg) degree from university of Allahabad in 1981 with 74.8% marks. Then he completed his M.Tech degree from IIT, Kharagpur in 1984 with post harvest engineering specialization. He jointed this university as Assistant Director (Engg.) in Regional Extension Service Centre (Rice Milling) on 05.03.1984. He is engaged in teaching various courses at Undergraduate, post graduate and Ph.D. level related to Agricultural Engineering and Post harvest Engg. specialization since his joining till date. On abolition of rice milling centre he was adjusted against the post of Asstt. Professor (Agril. Engg) in the department of Agronomy. In addition to teaching activities he is also engaged in research as well as extension activation in the area of his specialisation. So for he has published/present 16 papers in national and international conferences/ journals. He has also attended 10 training programme summer/winter school. He is also life member of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers as well as Association of Food Scientist and Technologist of India.
